Owner JP McManus' two main hopes for the Champion Hurdle next March are set to make their seasonal reappearance in the next fortnight.
The battle for hurdling's Blue Riband was set alight when former winner Faugheen romped to victory in Ireland over the weekend.
Now Buveur d'Air, the reigning champion, and Defi Du Seuil who won the Triumph Hurdle last March are set to strut their stuff.
Buveur d'Air will start the countdown to his defence at Newcastle a week on Saturday and Barry Geraghty will head north to take the ride. He's been speaking to Mike Vince and also reacting to the return of Faugheen.
