Harry Kane heads to the World Cup as one of Europe’s star strikers and England will be looking at their captain to lead by example.
The Tottenham forward struck 41 goals in 48 appearances this season and found the net from the edge of the area in the recent victory over Nigeria. England should be on the front foot for parts of the game which will provide opportunities for goals.
Meanwhile, the referee for this one, Wilmar Roldan, isn’t afraid to show a card and Tunisia could find themselves in the book as they try to prevent England getting onto the scoresheet.

Sterling to score, England to win by 2+ goals and BTTS - No - 9/2
Raheem Sterling has been exceptional this season and will be eager to extend that good form into the tournament in Russia as England will hope of progression to the latter stages.
The Three Lions won their last game by a scoreline of two goals, and have managed to keep a clean sheet in six of their last eight encounters.
For me, 9/2 looks tempting value on the above three coming in against Tunisia.

England have never lost to an African side at the World Cup and have five clean sheets in six, I expect both of those stats to continue and although it may be a toil at times Raheem Sterling will find the net in a 2-0 win.

England should get off to a winning start in Volgograd, but it will not be easy.
Penalties have been a regular feature of the tournament so far and Harry Kane will be the man to hopefully convert and ease the Three Lions’ nerves.
Raheem Sterling will be key to Gareth Southgate’s hopes in Russia and he will be keen to get off to a flyer, while England’s pressure in the final third will see plenty of set pieces taken in the clash.
