Former England and Chelsea defender John Terry has emerged as one of the front-runners to replace Paul Tisdale at Exeter City.
Tisdale, who was English football's longest serving boss, left the Sky Bet League Two club on Friday after contract talks broke down, bringing an end to 12 years in charge.
Talks over a new deal had been ongoing for a year but the deadline for Tisdale to sign had passed and he will therefore leave the Grecians.
Exeter lost the Sky Bet League Two play-off final to Coventry earlier this week - their second straight play-off final defeat - having finished fourth in the table.
Tisdale (below) was appointed in 2006 and took charge of 626 matches, winning 241, drawing 159 and losing 226.
He won back-to-back promotions from the National League to League One in 2008 and 2009 and his replacement will have big shoes to fill.
Matt Taylor is the current favourite with Sky Bet at 5/2, but Premier League and Champions League winner Terry is second in the betting market after leaving Aston Villa this week.
The 37-year-old is 1/2 to join Frank Lampard at Derby in either a playing or coaching capacity, but the opportunity to take a first step in management could tempt him to St James Park.
Keith Curle is third-favourite, while Matt Oakley, John Sheridan and Shaun Derry are also in contention - see the list below...
