Eddie Howe remains convinced he is the right man to drag Bournemouth away from Premier League relegation danger and dismissed suggestions he has been asked to resign.
Cherries boss Howe has come under pressure having seen his side take just four points from their last 11 top-flight games and is currently leading the sack race, at 6/4 with Sky Bet.
"It's a difficult moment, a negative moment, we've got to find ways to improve and change our results, change our performances," he said ahead of Saturday's game at bottom club Norwich.
"I'm absolutely confident we can do that."
Asked if he had been asked to step down as manager, he replied: "No, there's no truth in that."
