Eintracht Frankfurt prepared for their Europa League clash with Chelsea in the worst way possible by being hammered by Bayer Leverkusen.
Both sides are in the running to secure the final Champions League place in the Bundesliga standings, but Bayer moved level on points with their opponents after a convincing 6-1 victory at the BayArena.
Eintracht made four changes from the side that held Chelsea to a draw in their semi-final first-leg on Thursday night. Goalscorer Luka Jovic dropped out of the starting line-up, so too did Simon Falette, Mijat Gacinovic and Sebastian Rode.
All of the goals came in a frantic opening 36 minutes, with Frankfurt helpless as Leverkusen enjoyed 83% possession in the first-half.
No mistake from the Leverkusen wonderkid.

Kai Havertz got the afternoon underway when he struck with just two minutes on the clock. Ten minutes later, Julian Brandt had doubled their advantage.
Filip Kostic reduced the deficit less than a minute later but their joy was short-lived as Lucas Alario made it three in the 23rd minute.
Aranguiz, who already had two assists by this point, grabbed a goal himself moments later to put the home side in firm control. Alario then scored his second in the 34th minute.
To make matters worse, Frankfurt defender Martin Hinteregger turned the ball into his own net ten minutes before the break.
The result brings to an end a four-game unbeaten run in all competitions for Eintracht, as they travel to face a Chelsea side next who have won seven of their last nine at home in all competitions.
