Luton Town manager odds: Former captain Stephen Robinson favourite in the betting, Paul Hurst in contention

Stephen Robinson is the current favourite to replace Nathan Jones as Luton Town manager.

The 44-year-old Northern Irishman is the current manager of Scottish side Motherwell and has previous in the Sky Bet EFL with a six-month spell at Oldham in 2016/17.

He is a former Hatters player, making nearly 200 appearances including promotion from the third tier in 2005.

Sky Bet now make him the favourite at 2/1, while Joaquin Gomez, was Jones' first-team coach at Luton and is second in the betting at 5/2.

Former Shrewsbury and Ipswich boss Paul Hurst is 5/1 while former Oxford and Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton, initially the short-priced favourite, is now 9/1.

The Hatters are currently second in Sky Bet League One and looking for a new manager after Jones left for the vacancy at Stoke on Wednesday.

Jones, 45, leaves Kenilworth Road after three years with the club flying high and unbeaten in the league since October, following last season's promotion from Sky Bet League Two.
