Srisaket Sor Rungvisai produced a sensational fourth round stoppage of Roman Gonzalez to retain his WBC super-flyweight world title.
After a thrilling encounter back in March which controversially went the way of the Thai on the scorecards, the two super-flyweight's once again went toe-to-toe in Carson, California.
'Chocolatito' and Sor Rungvisai, 30, traded leather for leather before the champion found a huge right hand that left the Nicaraguan great, who had also been down earlier in the round, sprawled motionless on the canvas.
Speaking after successfully retaining his title, Sor Rungvisai said: "I trained really hard for four months ahead of this fight and it paid off.
"I fought for Thailand and the pride of my country, I dedicate this win to my home country.
"For the first fight, I only trained for two months, I knew this time I would knock him out.
"I will fight whoever next, I'm not scared of anyone out there."
On the undercard, Naoya Inoue blasted aside Antonio Nieves to retain his WBO world super-flyweight title and make a huge impression on his debut stateside.
The Japanese star, 24, showed immense punch power from the first bell and Nieves' corner pulled their charge, who hit the canvas in the fifth, out of the contest at the end of the sixth round as Inoue made the sixth successive defence of his strap.
Juan Francisco Estrada claimed a unanimous points win over Carlos Cuadras after a thrilling battle between the Mexican super-flyweight rivals.
Cuadras, 29, was supremely confident in the build-up and had some choice words for his younger opponent at Thursday's press conference, but it was Estrada who would have the final say, edging out 'El Principe' with three scores of 114-113.
After winning the all-action eliminator, Estrada, nicknamed 'El Gallo', who dropped his opponent in the 10th round, will now be in line to fight for the WBC world title as he looks to become a two-weight world champion.
