Key races and best bets
FAT HARRY - 12:50 Newcastle
A few of these bring potential, not least FAT HARRY who seemed all set to go 3-3 this term until losing valuable momentum on landing two out at Haydock last time. He can quickly resume winning ways off a still lenient-looking mark at the chief expense of the improving duo Powerofjet (second choice) and Moon Phases. Joecooker and Glen Road also need factoring into this intriguing contest.
UFOURIA - 14:52 Ludlow
It could be worth chancing UFOURIA, who travelled well for a long way on her debut for Alastair Ralph at Hereford last month and is entitled to build on that. Ip Up and Tour Ovalie are also likely to be involved at the business end.
A PERFECT DAY - 15:02 Wincanton
This handicap has a strong look to it and A PERFECT DAY could be the answer. He did the job well when scoring at Lingfield and it's unlikely that a 6 lb rise will be enough to stop him in his tracks. Punta Del Este represents last year's winning yard and he looks a big threat having taken a step back in the right direction last time. Turndlightsdownlow is third choice, while Champagne Chic and Oh My Johnny are others to consider.
