Michael van Gerwen sent out an ominous warning to his rivals after completing the 'Green Sweep' by winning the Paddy Power Champions League.
The world champion survived three match darts when trailing Peter Wright 10-7 in Sunday's thrilling final in Leicester before making Snakebite pay in emphatic fashion to triumph 11-10.
Van Gerwen has now won every single PDC major possible by the tender age of 30 while he took his tally of televised titles to 51, which also includes this season's Masters, Premier League, Melbourne Masters, New Zealand Masters and World Grand Prix.
It seems quite ridiculous that MVG's dominance was questioned during a handful of lean patch this season when he was knocked out early in the UK Open and World Matchplay but now he has a message for his critics.
He told www.pdc.tv: "To anyone who wrote me off, I'm back. This was a phenomenal weekend of high-standard darts for me, I didn't have one average under 100.
"I made it really difficult for myself in the final and found myself in a position I should never have been in, but Peter was nervous and I took advantage of that.
"There's lots of TV tournaments coming up and that's a really nice position to be in because I love to perform on stage, especially when I'm playing well and winning things.
"Now the Champions League is ticked off my bucket list it gives me more confidence than ever as we head into the busiest part of the year."
He's now an ever shortening favourite for the upcoming European Championship, World Series of Darts Finals, Grand Slam of Darts, Players Championship Finals and of course the World Championship as a packed winter schedule continues.
