Quirky sort who won his first handicap at Nottingham over 1m in April, then ran creditably when fifth of 12 in 9f contest at Wolverhampton in August after 4 months off. Perhaps unsuited by testing ground at Ffos Las last month.
Modest form at best all 3 outings in novice/maiden company during the spring. Does now get a first crack at handicaps back from 6 months off and the betting can prove a useful guide.
Opened his account at Pontefract (6f) in April and has largely held his form well since, quickly back on track tackling this trip for the first time when fourth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (1m, 14/1) 14 days ago.
Half-sister to smart 11.5f/1½m winner Star Storm who was unlucky not make a winning handicap debut in a 10-runner event at Wolverhampton (7f) 24 days ago, twice suffering interference and conceding first run. Leading player.
Still not too long with this yard and she produced her best effort to date when fourth at Yarmouth on her penultimate outing. Perhaps caught out by a combination of more testing and a longer trip when only sixth of 10 in handicap at Ffos Las (1m, heavy, 33/1) 18 days ago.
Won at Dundalk in February before losing way in headgear on turf after. Never looked like justifying support starting out for James Owen at Lingfield but took a step back in the right direction when fourth of 10 in handicap at Brighton (7f, good) 9 days ago. Makes tapeta debut. Cheekpieces back on.
Good second on final start for Charlie Johnston but little to shout about in 5 starts for current connections, albeit perhaps needing the run after a 3-month break when seventh of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f, 12/1) 16 days ago. Cheekpieces back on.
Still a maiden but ran well to add to his collection of placed efforts when third of 9 at Newcastle (1m) early last month. Not in the same when only twelfth of 19 in handicap at Redcar (1m, good) a week later, though.
Caused 66/1 shock over 1m at Southwell in January. Went as close as she has since in classified event at Lingfield in August and ran to a similar level in handicap company on her next 2 starts. Perhaps unsuited by conditions when last of 5 in handicap at Ffos Las (1¼m, heavy) 18 days ago.
Made more impact with blinkers applied when third in a Thirsk classified event in July and ran to a similar level despite a very slow break at Ayr next time. Too free upped to 1¼m at Newcastle last time but now drops back in trip.
Remains with only one win from 45 starts and ran poorly after a 3-month break when eighth of 10 in handicap (28/1) at this course (7f) 49 days ago. Tongue strap back on.
Poor form in Ireland in 2022 and makes no appeal making debut for new yard after over 4 years off.
Showed nothing in 4 maidens in Ireland for Joseph O'Brien and similar story in 2 handicaps for this yard.
Well beaten in 3 starts for Jack Channon and, after 5 months off, fared no better with visor applied when eleventh of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (1¼m) 43 days ago. Switches to cheekpieces dropped back in trip.

Forecasts
Oxford Circus (3/1), Battle Standard (10/3), Pride Eye (11/2), Joud (7/1), Desiderata (7/1), Maynora (17/2), Ragaire (14/1), Yoko (14/1), Here Comes Louie (14/1), Liberty Bird (28/1), Starshot (40/1), Bridgefoot Rambler (50/1), Nefyn Queen (125/1), Forever My Girl (150/1)
JOUD was unlucky not to make a successful switch to handicaps at Wolverhampton last month and is bred to appreciate this slightly longer trip, so makes most appeal. Oxford Circus isn't long with the James Owen yard and may pose the biggest threat ahead of Pride Eye.
