Came agonisingly close to making the perfect start for his new yard at Chester earlier this month, headed on the line but doing well under the circumstances given he was up with the strong gallop throughout. 5 lb rise for that near miss.
C&D winner last year who goes particularly well with cut in the ground. Reappearance effort offered encouragement at Doncaster (finished with running left) but he was unable to build on that 6 weeks later at Thirsk. Interesting now just 1 lb higher than his last winning mark.
Fast improving filly who completed the hat-trick at Doncaster (7f) last June. Too keen on her return to action when finishing down the field over 1m at this venue 4 weeks ago but she remains with potential and it's much too soon to be writing her off.
Likeable type who resumed with career-best win in 7f handicap (10/1) at Musselburgh last month. Not in the same form at Hamilton since and needs to get back on track if he's to feature.
Thrived as a 3-y-o and completed a five-timer at Chepstow (6f) in September. Poorly drawn at this track (6f) on his final start and can't be discounted on his return.
Won on debut in Ireland in summer 2020 and off the mark for Clive Cox in a 6f Salisbury handicap (heavy) in September. Ran well to prove himself at the trip when a close fourth on return at Doncaster and he may build on that effort here.
Progressed well last year with 3 wins over 7f and resumed with very good third at Redcar last month. Sent off 4/1 joint-favourite but something clearly wasn't right at York last week so he's worth another chance to build on his return effort.
Lightly raced for his age and returned better than ever after 6 months off to score at Chelmsford last month, all out to hold on. Represents an excellent yard and just as effective on turf, he may have a say in proceedings under top apprentice.
Shaped as if very much in need of the run after 6 months off on return at Redcar last month and possibly still needed the outing at York since. Four-time winner in 2021 and down another 2 lb, he's worth a second look.
Won 4 times in 2021 but not much to shout about on both outings this season, unable to land any sort of blow at York last week. Needs more help from the assessor before becoming of interest.
Fairly reliable performer who ran up to best on first start for this yard when runner-up in a big-field event at Naas a fortnight ago. Will need to step forward again but this sole Irish-raider warrants respect.
Winless since his debut as a 2-y-o but did shape well initially upon returning for Kevin Ryan last spring. Failed to kick on thereafter but did step forward on his reappearance/yard debut when fifth over C&D a fortnight ago (albeit hung badly left). Place claims at best.

Ascot Adventure (10/3), Kingmania (7/2), Earls (11/2), Mossbawn (13/2), Asad (8/1), Cold Stare (10/1), Paws For Thought (11/1), Zip (12/1), Uncle Jumbo (14/1), Gweedore (22/1), Russco (33/1), Ugo Gregory (50/1), Muntadab (50/1)
Something clearly wasn't right with MOSSBAWN at York last week but turned out again quickly, he's worth another chance to build on an encouraging reappearance effort and notch career success number 4. The main threat could be the progressive Kingmania, who may have just needed the run when finishing down the field over 1m at this track 4 weeks ago, while Asad and Ascot Adventure are another couple to consider in an open-looking finale.
