Career-high mark to defy after she posted a career-best at Galway (7f; soft) last week when doing it well. Both of her two wins have came on soft ground and she must have a chance if in the same form.
Slightly better on AW and not won turf in 15 subsequent starts since May 2018. Does have place claims at best on the form of his run over C&D in March and over 5f here in November though.
C&D winner three starts ago when getting the better of Master Matt over C&D. Subsequently failed to recapture that form in two subsequent starts over 1m/5f. Never won off a mark as high as this in 47-race career.
Only 3lb above the mark he scored off at the Curragh (6f; good to yielding) last August. Produced a string of highly respectable efforts in defeat since, including when third in the Scurry Handicap at the Curragh (6f; yielding) last time.
Running well lately without winning as shown when he went down fighting in third at the Curragh (5f; yielding) just a week ago. Found Mokhalad too good over C&D on seasonal debut. Back up in trip and likely to be prominent once again.
Mark continues to decline (now just 1lb above last winning mark), but she remains in quiet form and showed no signs of encouragement when down the field at Galway (7f; yielding) on Tuesday. Now tried in first-time blinkers but others preferred.
Returns to the track on first start for 304 days. Progress seemed to tail off towards the end of last season, and she can be opposed off a mark which looks stiff enough at present.
Lightly raced sort is starting to get the hang of things in handicaps as shown when she posted best effort for some time when narrowly denied at the Curragh (6f; yielding). Chances will be boosted if the rain arrives.
Not one to be seriously interested in given he has refused to race the last twice on final start of 2019/first start of 2020. Does have ability but is a risky proposition when in current mood.
Her overall profile suggests she has a preference for slower ground so this course winner may have had excuses on her seasonal debut when unplaced on quick ground. Worth another chance given the progress she made last season. Wants rain.
Thereabouts on all three starts since switched to handicaps this year. First-time blinkers may help to yield some further progress which will be needed if he is to seriously build on recent form. Dropped 1lb for latest fifth at the Curragh.
Banished the memory of poor effort on stable debut stringing together two solid efforts in defeat at Navan (5f; yielding to soft) the last twice. Unchanged mark and should be open to more progress given his unexposed profile. Returns to 6f.
Handicapper looks to have her just about where he wants her after her progress levelled off once se was given an 8lb rise for winning at Cork (5f; good) last year. Fitness to prove on first run in 295 days too.
Almost cashed in on slightly reduced mark two starts ago when a narrow second, and was from disgraced most recently when fifth at the Curragh (5f; good to yielding) in a typically competitive event. Place claims once more.
Holds a moderate strike-rate overall (1-26). However, his sole career victory did come over C&D. Showed he is still capable of running well on penultimate start when placed but he doesn't look well handicapped 7lb above last winning mark.
Found just one too good on all three starts this summer. Expensive loser last time when sent off 6-4f. Proving to be a bit frustrating but should be competitive as he switches into handicap company for the first time.
Built upon encouraging effort when a 66-1 third at Navan (6f; yielding to soft) to make a winning handicap debut over C&D last time out. Up 7lb & on worse terms with Kosman this time round but is less exposed than that rival.
Course winner tends to be quite a consistent sort in the main. Only beaten a half-length over C&D a couple of weeks ago. Slightly below par when sixth at Gowran Park (7f; yielding) but return to 6f should suit better. In the mix.

A whole host of runners in with chances and if there is 'soft' in the going description then Lustown Baba would have to come into the reckoning. Similar comments apply to Royal Canford who has a career-high mark to defy but looked better than ever when winning at Galway last week. Also considered are Ecclesiastical, Master Matt, Blairmayne & Sendmylovetoyou. However, this looks set to be fought out between Kosman & RED PANTZ. The former is considerably better off with the latter after he finished behind the filly over C&D two starts ago, but preference is for the latter who was making her handicap debut then & open to improvement.
- Red Pantz
- Kosman
- Royal Canford
