90-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer John Ryan winning over £63,000 in prize money. Best watched on hurdling debut representing a yard who are just two from 36 over timber in the last five years.
Modest 77-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer William Haggas, without a win in five starts. No impression finishing 17th of 24 on hurdling debut at Cork last month. Others look open to more improvement.
Below-par 60-rated handicapper on the Flat. Well held and never nearer in three maiden hurdle starts so far and needs to improve on even his best form to pay a role here.
Sent off at big prices on both maiden hurdle efforts to date before running accordingly on each occasion. Left with something to prove on the balance of those runs.
Gelding by Famous Name out of a Oratorio mare. Dam well beaten on both starts on the Flat between 1m and 1m2f. Easy to dismiss on debut.
French import by Day Flight out of a Bobinski mare. Winner on final start in France in a 1m7f bumper before a couple of encouraging efforts at Cork and Punchestown last month. Enters calculations.
€30,000 3-y-o out of a maiden half-sister to fairly useful chaser Azrou d'Ex. Winner on debut of a Punchestown bumper on yielding ground when last seen in April. Strong claims on hurdling debut.
Gelding by Cokoriko out of a Subotica mare. Well held in a Thurles bumper and a couple of maiden hurdles over differing trips last month and remains easy to oppose.
Lord Du Sud gelding. Third to a pretty useful sort with prior experience who has won since in lone start in France back in May over hurdles before finishing over 11L behind Blue Sari at Punchestown last month on stable debut. Shortlisted.
Stowaway gelding a close second when falling at the last in lone point-to-point after which he was bought by connections for £140,000. Needs to step up on what he has shown so far in a couple of maiden hurdle spins so far.
By Jeremy out of a full sister to high-class staying hurdler Bog Warrior but always struggling before being pulled up at Fairyhouse befotre finishing 20L adrift of Blue Sari at Punchestown last month. Others hold stronger chances.
Gelding by Sans Frontieres out of a Presenting mare. Half-brother to 2m/3m hurdle winner Admiral Brian and 2m/2m3f victor Sunset Sadie. 11th of 14 beaten over 29L on debut, never threatening at Ballinrobe when last seen in April.
Mahler gelding out of a Flat maiden, and a cheap purchase at the sales. Last of 25 on debut at Punchestown when last seen in April and appears to have a mountain to climb here.
Career start came on the Flat in France, winning a 1m6½f contest in September 2018. Pleasing debut over hurdles on return to action last month finishing fourth of 22 runners at Cork. Likely to run well once again.
Shirocco gelding out of a Phardante mare. €40,000 as a three-year-old. Half-brother to the useful The Real Article, winner between 2m and 2m4f over hurdles and fences. Not disgraced on hurdling debut at Naas over 2m last month but more needed here.
Gelding by Milan out of a Dashing Blade mare. German bred Dam finished second in a Listed contest over 7½f. Market likely to reveal expectations on hurdling debut.
Appeared to be regressing on the Flat before a pleasing hurdling debut at Thurles last month over 2m. Yard among the winners at Clonmel on Thursday and worth a market check here.
Triple German Flat winner who showed up well on his stable debut in July, but couldn't back that up. Only got as far as the first on hurdling debut at Cork last month and hard to make a case for in this contest.
Winner on the Flat in Germany, well beaten and never a factor in a couple of starts in France. Well down the field in a couple of maiden hurdle starts over 2m4f/2m last month. Likely to find it tough going.
Filly by Martaline out of a Nikos mare. Sister to bumper winner Juge Et Parti. Well-beaten in two weak bumpers last April. Impossible to fancy on that basis and she would subsequently be best watched.
Sister to winning hurdler and chaser Killer Miller. Off the mark at the third attempt in bumpers when winning a 16 runner event over an extended 2m at Ballinrobe in May. Beaten in a couple of initial maiden hurdles but drop in trip may suit.
Daughter of Pour Moi. Cost €12,000 as a foal. Related to some useful National Hunt performers. Only got as far as the first on hurdling debut at Thurles last month and hard to place any faith in.
Homebred daughter of Casamento. Half-sister to connections' fair 1m½f Flat winner Nanabad. Only got as far as the third on hurdling debut over 2m4f at Navan last month. Looks opposable.
Out and out stayer on the Flat finished fifth of 14 on hurdles bow at Down Royal before finishing 12th of 22 beaten 22L behind Blue Sari at Punchestown over 2m4f last month. Improved effort would not surprise.
Carrer best effort over hurdles came when finishing third of 13 beaten 16L in a Navan maiden hurdle in March. More recently seen on the Flat over the summer running with credit over 1m and 1m2f. Not to be taken lightly.
First Reserve: 10-race maiden, nine defeats coming over the larger obstacles in France. Market likely to be the best guide on stable debut.

The Willie Mullins-trained TIGER TAP TAP appears to have been found an ideal opportunity to get off the mark in this contest. The four-year-old has failed to live up to the early promise of his first couple of starts behind Sir Erec last winter. The Jukebox Jury gelding can emulate his stablemate Buildmeupbuttercup who landed last years renewal ahead of the Gordon Elliott-trained Festival D'ex who won his bumper in style when last seen in April. Fakir for trainer Joseph O'Brien and the J P McManus-owned Pure Genius can improve on their most recent starts to compete for the minor honours.
