Picked up four races in 2017 but he has finished last on his three most recent starts. Something of a Musselburgh specialist so few positives unless the market suggests a revival.

Has now won four races since joining this yard in the autumn including one here. Had a luckless run last time and in with every chance if ignoring that effort.

Has improved with each run and probably bumped into a smart one last time. Has a tough task against his elders but his sister, Bittern, stayed this far and there should be more to come.

Better last time when backed into favourite and a winner on his only previous visit here. Chances would improve if the rain forecast for Friday alters the ground.

Verdict

KILLDEER faces a tough task against streetwise elders but he bumped into a nice filly last time and he is bred to find a bit more over this trip. Theglasgowarrior can be forgiven his last run but comes into it on his two turf wins this year. Mutadaffeq is holding his form well and deserves to land a race soon if connections can figure the right way to ride him.
