50/1
Excelebration colt who looks in need of plenty further than this judged on his two runs so far. Pedigree suggests similar and will do better given more time.

66/1
Compton Place gelding, half-brother to nine winners including Rosa Grace, who won over 7f at two and went on to win over 1m2f in Listed company and both Eastern Destiny and Secret Night, who won over sprint trips as juveniles. Showed very little on debut at Beverly but entitled to come on for that run.

Helmet gelding, cost 25,000 gns as a yearling. Improved a little from his debut in an attempt to make all at Thirsk last time but needs to take a big step forward in what looks a deeper contest.
Dragon Pulse colt, cost €17,000 as a yearling. Not beaten far at Ripon two starts back but outpaced last time at Hamilton and likely to need further than this.

Finjaan gelding, cost £2,000 as a yearling. Last of five at Musselburgh on debut and never really going at Beverly last time in a claimer. Looks up against it in here.

Didn't really need to improve to win a weak looking seller at Goodwood at the weekend and this is probably a stronger race but he does have an experience edge over plenty of these and faster ground shouldn't inconvenience him too much. Each-way player.

10/1
Bated Breath colt, half-brother to Mr Carbonfootprint, who scored over 6f on his debut at Ripon back in May 2013 and dam was a maiden who stayed beyond a mile. Didn't show anything on debut at Wolverhampton but he does appear to be the yard's first string on jockey bookings.

Horse silk
20/1
Lilbourne Lad gelding who improved for his debut when a close third at Redcar last time, having the run of the race to some extent. Probably needs a bit more to take this but not discounted for yard who won this last year and he could be the most likely out of the yard's four runners this time around.

Still a maiden after six starts and beaten out of sight at Newbury last time. May appreciate the switch back to faster ground but drawn on the wing unlikely to be ideal and he's more exposed than most in here.
Haafhd gelding likely to want plenty further than this judged on his pedigree. Yard have been a little quiet and have a low-strike rate at this course.

Horse silk
33/1
Paco Boy filly, cost 24,000 gns as a yearling. Ninth of 11 at Thirsk on debut and didn't improve for that run when last of five at Carlisle on second start. Looks up against it.

Horse silk
66/1
Captain Gerrard filly whose dam was a winner over this trip as a two-year-old. Yard not known for their juvenile winners but not without a chance in this line up if there's any market support.

Sir Prancealot filly, cost £10,000 as a yearling. Half-sister Gorokai was a 5f winner a couple of seasons back, although needed a bit of time to progress and dam was a maiden but half-sister to soft ground loving middle distance Group winner Zafisio. Well beaten 100/1 shot on debut and this doesn't look any easier.
Mazameer filly, cost 800 gns foal and out of a 7f Fibresand and 1m2f selling winning half-sister to multiple 1m4f-2m AW winner Coda Agency and Listed-placed 5f-6f winner Piccolo Player. Too green on debut to do herself justice but entitled to come on for that and this jockey is worth the 3lb he takes off in the saddle.

Bated Breath filly, dam Listed placed. Went off favourite for a seller at Redcar on debut but finished runner-up to Popsi. Turned the tables with that runner in a claimer when having to give weight away and has her first start for a new yard now. Should continue to give a good account and extra furlong unlikely to be an issue; leading player on form.

Horse silk
28/1
Society Rock filly who failed to sell on several occasions at the sales but has run okay in a couple of maidens this year, without ever threatening the winners enclosure. May appreciate the drop into selling company with first-time cheekpieces on and not without some sort of each-way chance.

Horse silk
13/2
Canford Cliffs filly, cost €18,000 as a foal and €14,000 as a yearling. Not beaten far in either of her maiden starts and should enjoy this drop in grade.

The Love Doctor (3/1), Our Little Pony (9/2), Time For Treacle (6/1), Seaella (13/2), Milton Road (13/2), Laydee Victoria (9/1), Mr Carbonator (10/1), Faradays Spark (14/1), Placebo Effect (20/1), Eyes of Fire (25/1), Roses In June (28/1), Where's Jeff (33/1), Foxxy Brown (33/1), Holmfirst (33/1), Budgie (50/1), Christmas Night (66/1), Miss Mazzie (66/1), Lady Ensign (66/1)

Verdict

MILTON ROAD won well at Goodwood on Sunday and he may be up to winning back-to-back races with plenty more experience on his side than the majority of these. Time For Treacle and Seaella have shown glimpses of ability despite the fact the pair are yet to get there head in front and Roses In June may improve for the fitting of first-time cheekpieces. Our Little Pony is likely to be the chief danger to the selection after a couple of fair efforts and the step up in trip may suit.
  1. Milton Road
  2. Our Little Pony
  3. Seaella
