Two-time scorer on the AW when in the care of Tommy Stack but has raced a bit too keenly over hurdles so far in finishing mid-division on three occasions. He's in good hands however and may be capable of better still.
Moderate performer on the Flat, winning one of 12 starts for Richard Hannon. Makes first for this trainer now going jumping and market may steer expectations.
Dual winner on the Flat for Jim Bolger, but hurdles form only moderate. Would need to find something extra if going to make a big impact in this.
Maiden winner on the Flat for Kevin Prendergast, showing only limited ability. First jumps start now and may be one to watch at the moment despite joining top yard.
Just one win from five starts on the Flat, coming in a mile maiden at Navan. Rating in that sphere entitles him to plenty respect now jumping hurdles.
Has had a string of chances already in this sphere, placing in five of eight hurdles runs, but no sing of a breakthrough and hard to be enthusiastic about this quirky character.
Son of Galileo was a maiden winner at Gowran Park last year for Aidan O'Brien and showed enough in brief Flat career to suggest there's a future in him over these obstacles. First jumps start.
Winner on the Flat at a modest level for Mick Halford when blinkers were applied for the first time, his efforts over timber have been modest in 2m maiden at Cork earlier in the month when beaten almost 20L.
Won his only previous race, over 1m2f on the AW at Dundalk in February. Immediately switched to hurdles for shrewd trainer and with champion jockey booked.
Yet to win in four starts over timber, though did go close over 2m at Gowran Park in November in a maiden. Very poor on the Flat at Chester recently and looks one to be wary of currently.
One win from six starts on the Flat, came over 1m5f at Galway in July. First start over hurdles and could be capable of making an impression in this sphere.
Average performer on the Flat, with one win, though nothing in three starts so far over hurdles to suggest he's going to excel at this game. Pulled up over 2m at Navan last month.
Showed modest form on the level and found little improvement for the switch to hurdles so far. Hard to fancy
Well beaten off on debut in maiden hurdle at Killarney a week ago, needs large-scale improvement to get involved now. Looks stable second choice.
Sent off at 100/1 for debut in similar contest at Cork this month, never threatening to outrun those odds.
Ran an improved race in handicap bow over 2m at Tramore recently to 5L third. Looks one of the more appealing options in this field.
Moderate third of 22 on hurdles bow at Fairyhouse in December over 2m, off since and could have a bit more to offer.
Quickly faded out of contention over 2m at Cork in similar contest earlier this month, having gone off at 100/1. More required.
€12,000 3yo Youmzain gelding is well-related to a number of winners in France but didn't create much an impression over C&D recently and has plenty improvement to find.
Unraced Schiaparelli gelding is likely to have modest ambitions on racecourse bow, though market can provide more guidance.
First racecourse start for this Shirocco gelding, trainer has close to 19 per-cent strike rate with hurdles over the previous 12 months.
Made debut in a 2m bumper at Down Royal earlier this month, fading out of contention during the final 2f. Has improvement to find.
Made all to win Thurles bumper in March though has since been put in place at Limerick, hurdles bow here.
Filly out of Strategic Prince, jumping wasn't always perfect on debut at Cork and will need to be slicker on second start if hoping to get off the mark.
Beneficial filly makes first start here and yard are in decent form, she's worth a second glance in the betting.
Forecasts
Cook Islands (5/2), First Class Ticket (3/1), Leomar (4/1), Coldamour (9/1), Charle Brune (10/1), Share The Honour (14/1), Monarch (16/1), Skeaping (16/1), Tarazani (22/1), A Shin Impala (25/1), Tommy Think Twice (25/1), Blue Eyed Lucy (25/1), Bag of Diamonds (33/1), Brontide (50/1), Global Racing (50/1), Mininus Miss Diva (50/1), Colonel Maximus (50/1), Reddot Dancer (50/1), Zoffanys Pride (66/1), Shiranton (66/1), Balaclava (100/1), Ronald Pump (100/1), Celtic Dancer (100/1), Knockersally Lad (100/1), Bard Of Armagh (100/1)
SHARE THE HONOUR won his only start on the Flat at Dundalk in February and it is interesting that Tony Martin elects to go straight over hurdles now with the champion jockey booked. There are some smart prospects in this field but he could be up to winning. Cook Islands is one of two for his trainer and should be capable of going well but there might be more juice in the price about stablemate Monarch who has also shown plenty promise on the Flat. First Class Ticket and Coldamour are other that might go well in an open maiden.
