On the evidence of his two runs this month, he's going to find this tough enough going. Just the one win from 13 runs last year.
Winner over this trip on the AW at Dundalk in February, hasn't been disgraced in two subsequent runs on turf though he does have plenty to find on these terms in this line-up.
A four-time winner in France, he hasn't run since October and would appear to have it all do on the ratings making his first start in this country.
Ran well enough over 2m on the AW at Dundalk in January, would certainly have place claims come into this if putting his best foot forward.
Won final two starts of last year as he pleased, clearly a very talented colt and has chunks in hand on these rivals assuming he's ready to go.
Winner over this sort of trip in France in the past, not seen since below par hurdles run last summer and probably best watched on return.
Fair effort on reappearance at Naas ten days ago over 1m2f, likely to do better now on what is set to be a sounder surface. Place claims are clear.
Has been off 14 months, best of his form puts him in the mix but will be doing well to show that and looks to be second string on jockey bookings.

Forecasts
Motherland (13/8), Ezanak (2/1), Benkei (6/1), Mandatario (8/1), Adimelo (14/1), Swamp Fox (14/1), Brokopondo (16/1), Tandem (20/1), Cash In Mind (33/1)
MOTHERLAND should be going places this season. He won as he pleased at Galway in July when last spotted and should be well up to the challenge of continuing his winning ways here. Tandem would be capable of giving him a major scare but a 14-month layoff rather cools expectations for him as does the fact that Smullen instead partners Ezanak. He should improve on his reappearance now meeting better ground but will struggle to contain an on-song favourite. Dual performer Swamp Fox shouldn't be overlooked on his return to the Flat.
