Never competitive in a couple of 7f maidens for Jedd O'Keeffe last year and has first start for this yard today, with cheek pieces added. Half-brother to several winners, although pedigree suggests that further than this will bring out the best in him.
Well beaten in a pair of 7f maidens last season. Dam was a winner over 1m4f-1m6f and a half-sister to St Leger winner Bollin Eric. Another whose pedigree suggests that he will be seen to best effect over further.
Gelded prior to this debut. 55,000 GNS foal and then 36,000 GNS vendor buy back as a yearling. Half-brother to a winner in Japan. Dam Listed-placed over 7f and from family of an Irish 1,000 Guineas winner. By a top stallion and represents a top yard, so market check very much advised.
155,000 GNS foal, increasing to 310,000 GNS as a yearling. Got competitive in a couple of maidens last season without winning, including twice over this sort of trip and on good ground. Half-brother to 1m-1m4f winner Ningara, while dam won over 1m1f. Portents good for a very competitive reappearance with yard in cracking form.
Never a factor in two maidens last season, both over 6f. Gelded since and now stepped up in trip, but despite inside draw he will need significant improvement to figure and handicapping looks an obvious route.
Made steady progress in three maidens last season, making the frame in the last of them at Doncaster, when he outperformed his 25/1 SP. Closely related to a couple of winners over this distance, so the return to it should be a positive. Market check advised.
Full-brother to 7f 2yo winner Albernathy, who was twice placed at three (7f-1m) in handicaps from a mark of 87. Dam placed at 1m-1m1½f in France and full-sister to Australian Group One winner from 6f-1m4f. Related to Oaks winners Moonshell and King George winner Doyen. Top pedigree and represent in-form connections.
Never involved on sole start at two, beaten 11L at Doncaster over 7f. Even so, that race worked out well and this filly is closely related to a French winner over this trip who is out of a 1m3f Group Two winner and Oaks/Irish Oaks runner-up. Interesting, although yard off the boil again of late.
Well beaten in two maidens at Redcar so far, including last week. Impossible to recommend her today on the strength of those runs and it looks as though handicapping is more likely to be her forte.
Did not figure in two starts at Doncaster last season, finishing last on each occasion. Half-sister to two winners over this trip, but clearly needs a major leap of faith to see her following suit today and should do better when given a handicap mark.

Forecasts
Fujaira Bridge (4/6), Lamloom (5/1), Pilgrim's Treasure (5/1), Swanenburg (6/1), El Nino Sea (9/1), Indian Vision (33/1), Tread Lightly (33/1), American Craftsman (100/1), Chionodoxa (100/1), Bollin Ted (100/1), Sai Kung Star (100/1)
There shouldn't be too many of these getting competitive today, but there is still plenty of interest in a few of the field. El Nino Sea is one to check on in the market. He is well-bred and represents top connections and the same can be said of Pilgrim's Treasure, who would be no surprise winner. Even so, FUJAIRA BRIDGE has plenty going for him, including experience and he might just be good enough to break his duck today. Lamloom looks the most interesting of the remainder.
- Fujaira Bridge
- Pilgrim's Treasure
- El Nino Sea
