Former winner on the Flat, shown enough in two outings over timber for this trainer to suggest he'll open his account soon enough.
Modest type on the level, comes here off 141-day break for jumps bow, and this is a big ask.
Reached a decent level on the Flat, improved performance second start over hurdles at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and should do better again.
Hard to build a case for him on Flat/jumps form so far, two runs over hurdles have been tame.
Much-improved effort at Fairyhouse this month when 100/1 and sixth of 16 in two-mile maiden hurdle, will need more here but may have something to offer.
Surprise winner at Limerick on the Flat when last seen, that was a career-best effort and may have to find more to continue winning ways now jumping.
Front-running in bumper here earlier this month, unable to sustain effort as he finished in midfield. Makes hurdles debut and could have a say.
Did all bar win on heavy ground over this trip when making hurdles debut at Limerick last month, that looks fair form and leading claims of going one better.
Jumping wasn't great on first attempt over hurdles at Fairyhouse a fortnight ago, leaves him with plenty to do given enough of these rivals were better on the Flat.
Fell on hurdles debut, somewhat better recently at Fairyhouse although finished well behind From Eden then, needs more.
Hasn't given the impression in two maiden hurdle runs that he's a winner in waiting, possibly one to watch out for when handicapping.
Modest record on the Flat, had a spin around Dundalk last week on first start for new trainer ahead of this jumping test but hard to fancy.
Was a decent performer on the Flat and should have learned from hurdles debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month, needs to iron out jumping if he's going to challenge.
Dead-heated in Huntingdon bumper back in October, showing good attitude to do so, has switched to this trainer since and remains very much of interest for jumps career.
Smart and consistent performer on the Flat in Britain, makes jumps debut on first start for a trainer in fine form that should have him ready for the job at hand.
Six-race maiden on the Flat, filly is being given a sizeable task on first attempt at hurdles.
She'd do well to match some of these rivals on the Flat, makes hurdles debut here with tongue strap going on for the first time.
Just the one run over hurdles behind her, when finishing some distance behind a couple of today's rivals and hard to see where the improvement will come from.
Very ordinary on the Flat, has the benefit of a recent Dundalk run for fitness but the positives stop there.
Completely tailed off over two-miles at Fairyhouse earlier this month, previous jumps test at Doncaster was also lacking in promise and most likely going to struggle in this field.
Forecasts
Leomar (1/1), A Year To Remember (6/1), Vermeulen (13/2), English Pale (8/1), Theydon Park (14/1), From Eden (16/1), Look Closer (22/1), I See You Well (25/1), Successor (25/1), Mrmathematics (40/1), Grande Waltz (40/1), Mandarin Monarch (50/1), Reddot Dancer (50/1), Carta Blanca (66/1), Balaclava (66/1), Charms Bracelet (100/1), Lady Mona Lisa (100/1), Pretty Little Liar (100/1), Fraser (100/1), Emily Square (100/1)
LEOMAR is fancied to atone for his Limerick disappointment last month, he found just one too strong there but it remains a solid start and he'll set a fair standard for the newcomers to aim at. Of those, Theydon Park and Vermeulen are very interesting. The former showed a pleasing attitude to dead-heat on his sole bumper run in England before switching to this up-and-coming trainer while Vermeulen could not be in better hands right now as his new trainer is flying. He was thoroughly consistent on the Flat and has the speed to worry plenty of these. A Year To Remember is gaining experience over timber all the time and should make his mark soon enough but plenty of the other have it all to do.
1. Leomar
2. Vermeulen
3. Theydon Park
