While hard to argue with PSG's odds-on quotes, it is remarkably uncommon for the favourites to win the UEFA Super Cup in 90 minutes.
Six of the last eight and nine of the last 13 have gone to extra time or penalties, while eight of the last 11 have been level at full-time.
The Champions League holders usually emerge with the trophy, though, doing so in seven successive Super Cups and 12 of the last 13, with Atletico Madrid's extra-time win over Real Madrid in 2018 the sole exception.

PSG are a wonderful team but their pure style of play is not always enough to get things done in normal time.
It has not been an issue, though, as Luis Enrique's side have developed the useful habit of becoming shootout experts. They won this match in that fashion last season after scoring in the 85th and 94th minutes to deny Tottenham, then also went on to win the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, French Champions Trophy and Champions League via penalty shootouts.
I will not go as far as backing them to emerge that way in Salzburg - they are 11/2 compared with Aston Villa's 6/1 - but THE DRAW at 29/10 feels a sensible bet.
Like many top clubs, PSG will have had minimal preparation with a large number of key players involved in the latter stages of the World Cup, so it's fair to expect a little rustiness.
Villa have similar issues, albeit to a lesser degree, but their bigger concern is the amount of change to Unai Emery's squad this summer.
The Europa League winners have sold Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers for a combined £150m, while Lucas Digne has joined Wednesday's opponents, leaving Emery with a significant rebuild on his hands.
This will be a very different XI to the one that thrashed Freiburg in the Europa League final, but Emery's record in European competition is close to unrivalled, so we can be confident Villa will make life difficult for a PSG team they pushed very close in the Champions League quarter-finals 18 months ago, winning at Villa Park.
One player who will be fresh and raring to go is KHVICHA KVARATSKHELIA.
The PSG winger has had a summer of rest after Georgia failed to qualify for the World Cup and will hope to take last season's form into this match.
He ended with 20 goals and 12 assists in all competitions, including 16 goal contributions - 10 goals and six assists - in as many Champions League games.
Kvaratskhelia is backed at 2/1 TO SCORE ANYTIME and 19/5 for 1+ ASSISTS.
Not just because of the prices, but we should weight our stake more heavily towards him finding the net given his finish to last term. He scored 15 times for club and country in his final 26 outings, assisting on only four occasions.
