2142: That's your lot. Hugely damaging night for the Republic of Ireland, who suffer their first defeat of the campaign just as we hit the home straight and they'll probably need two wins now - the second of them in Cardiff - to secure a play-off. Top spot looks to be gone, with Serbia now five clear of Ireland and four ahead of Wales. Great effort from a side that made a complete mess of Euro 2016 qualification.

2140: FT: Rep of Ireland 0-1 Serbia
The corner is headed over the bar, and Ireland can now forget about winning the group while even the play-offs look a long way off. They trail Wales by a point and face the prospect of having to go to Cardiff and get a result in the final round of fixtures.

2139: Corner to Ireland with 30 seconds remaining. Last chance.

2138: Stojkovic booked for some pretty blatant time-wasting.

2137: FT: Moldova 0-2 Wales
Two wins for Wales this week to rekindle their World Cup hopes. They're going to be second in the table tonight, barring silliness in Dublin.

2137: Moldova hit the post!

2136: GOAL! RAMSEY! Moldova 0-2 Wales
No nerves now. Huge deflection stuffs the keeper as Ramsey's shot from the edge of the area loops off a Moldovan leg.

2135: Halfway through four added minutes in Chisinau. Couple of Moldova corners just to test Welsh nerves.

2134: Ireland just trying pot shots from distance now. Not particularly good ones, either. They've got five added minutes to do something better.

2129: The ball breaks kindly for Murphy in the Serbia penalty box, but his powerful shot is beaten away by Stojkovic. If we're being hyper-criticial of Murphy, the snap-shot was just a bit too close to the keeper.

2128: Nice move from Ireland but Christie fails to cross first-time when presented with the opportunity and then exacerbates the error by selfishly dragging a shot wide after his dallying.

2126: Wales went odds-against a few minutes before that Robson-Kanu goal. They're now 1/50.

2124: Ireland have surely got to get something tonight now. They're 5/2 to do so.

2123: As things stand:

  1. Serbia 18pts
  2. Wales 14pts
  3. Rep of Ireland 13pts

2122: GOAL! ROBSON-KANU! Moldova 0-1 Wales
Huge, huge goal in Chisinau! Man of the moment Ben Woodburn skins his man down the left before whipping in a beautiful cross for Robson-Kanu to head Wales into the lead.

2121: Ireland raging, and with good reason as Vukovic clearly holds Murphy down as he tries to jump for a high ball into the area. Should have been a penalty.

2116: McClean will also miss the Moldova game after hacking Kolarov from behind about six yards away from the referee. Not clever.

2114: Brady hits the free-kick into the wall and then gets booked for bringing down Mitrovic. Brady now misses the game against Moldova next month.

2111: RED CARD! MAKSIMOVIC! He's hacked down Murphy, who was through on goal. Serbia down to 10 men for the last 22 minutes, while Ireland have a dangerous free-kick.

2111: Iceland two goals to the good against Ukraine. Gylfi Sigurdsson with both.

2109: Ireland huffing and puffing in Dublin but there's not the required quality at the moment.

2108: Huge chance for Moldova! Williams misses his kick and the hosts are in, but Wales get enough numbers back to smuggle the ball behind for a corner. Wales struggling.

2104: A route-one hoof briefly raises Irish hopes as Maksimovic stumbles, but Long can't get on the end of it and Stojkovic gathers. Very little happening in Chisinau. Wales have drifted to 8/13 now; hugely damaging if they fail to win that one.

2102: Spain now 6-0 up in Liechtenstein, who've got a bit of work to do there.

2100: As things stand

  1. Serbia 18pts
  2. Rep of Ireland 13pts
  3. Wales 12pts

2058: GOAL! KOLAROV! Rep Ireland 0-1 Serbia
Big problems now for Ireland as Kolarov rifles a shot through Randolph and in off the bar from close range.

2057: Another winning tip for David John as Ciro Immobile opens the scoring for Italy against Israel. Man's a machine. Well worth checking out all his NFL stuff if you're that way inclined. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

2055: There's been a booking in Dublin. Rukavina gets his name taken. At least that stops me spewing about not taking that 300/1.

George Costanza's Greatest hits

2054: There haven't been any goals or chances in the last few minutes, which I may or may not have spent looking for George Costanza videos on YouTube.

2050: I think part of the reason is that it makes me think of George Costanza.

2049: Tadic almost scores for Serbia in the first minute of the stanza.

2049: Second stanzas under way all across the continent.

2048: Second stanza under way in Dublin.

2047: Second stanza under way in Chisinau.

2045: Stanza an unappreciated bit of footballese for mine.

2043: Boosts! Get yer Price Boosts here! In Dublin, it's 13/2 that we get three or more goals in the second half after a goalless first stanza, with Robbie Brady 15/2 to get his name on the scoresheet. Jon Walters is 9/1 to open the scoring. Meanwhile, in Chisinau, Bale is now 100/30 to open the scoring with 5/1 on offer for both teams to score in the second half. Moldova have shown a bit, to be fair to them. Craig Bellamy ludicrously claiming on Sky that "they've put 11 men behind the ball" is the reason they binned off Fanzone.

2033: HT: Rep of Ireland 0-0 Serbia
No injury-time in Dublin, so we've made up most of that time lost with the delayed start. Good work, ref. Not a bad game, to be fair, but not a particularly good one either. Both sides have had tidy spells without quite managing to find the killer touch.

2032: HT: Moldova 0-0 Wales
Frustrating first 45 minutes for Wales, who've struggled to create much and to get Bale on the ball. The two are not unrelated. Improvement needed after the break.

2028: Classic start-the-half-and-end-the-half-strongly stuff from Serbia, who have had a couple of decent chances and now a corner in recent minutes. The corner's worked to Kolarov 30 yards out, but his sidefoot effort lacks venom and is easily blocked.

2027: Liechtenstein unable to 'do a Luxembourg' on Spain tonight. Currently 4-0 down with Ramos, Morata, Isco and David Silva all on the scoresheet.

2025: Bale fires over the bar from a long way out wide on the right. Daft effort for most players, but not so much for Bale who is well capable of popping one in from there.

2024: Hoolahan jinks into the Serbia penalty area but is finally halted just as he prepares to pull the trigger.

2020: Right, if there aren't going to be any goals let's have a look at the Price Boosts instead. 3/1 for Gareth Bale to score first in the Wales game, Shane Long 10/1 to do so in Dublin having stung the keeper's palms a while back. Both teams to score before half-time at the Aviva is 33/1. They've both had chances, as Serbia do right here as Randolph has to dive full stretch to deny Mitrovic.

2018: Kolarov tries some banter with a cheeky shot from a 40-yard free-kick. It's wide. Over in Chisinau, Davies goes for goal from distance. It's wide.

2010: Stojkovic completes the job with a composed claim of the corner.

2008: Lightning break from Ireland. Walters sets Long away down the left. He looks up for options and, finding none, decides to cut inside and take it on. Fizzing shot, but tipped over the bar for a corner.

2006: Ireland have neutralised Serbia's fast start and are starting to gain control in Dublin.

2004: Crowd scene in the Moldovan penalty area after a Bale shot is fumbled, but Wales can't scramble the ball home. Great block by... one of the defenders who hurled themselves in the way of Robson-Kanu's close-range effort.

1958: Disallowed goal in Dublin. Duffy in again to head home having scored against Georgia at the weekend, but he's rightly flagged offside.

1955: There has been an early goal in the other game in this group, with Georgia leading against Austria. The Austrians have been so disappointing in this group.

1950: First good chance comes in Dublin, and for Serbia. A cutback breaks for Nemanja Matic on the edge of the box, but Robbie Brady slides in to block.

1948: Three whole minutes after Wales kick off, Ireland get under way. Nothing much to report yet, especially in Dublin.

1948: We're two minutes in at Chisinau. Yet to kick off in Dublin. Time for the powers that be to start factoring anthem length into these events.

1944: Ireland anthem sadly solo due to the Moldovans' short and sweet contribution. I just can't enjoy single national anthems any more.

1942: Currently listening to the Serbian national anthem in one ear and the Welsh one in the other. Could be the next big thing in music.

1940: Still time to try and nudge the Crowd Boosted Acca up to 12/1 before kick-off. Even so, 11/1 for Wales, Croatia and Republic of Ireland all to win isn't too shabby, is it? Remember, everyone gets the final price regardless of what the odds were when you backed it.

1930: Different tale at the Aviva Stadium, where Serbia are 13/8 and Republic of Ireland 15/8. It screams draw at 2/1, doesn't it? If fence-sitting isn't your pint of Guinness, you can get a whopping 13/2 Price Boost (from 9/2) for Shane Long to score in an Ireland win.

This match also boasts a particularly exhaustive list of fancy-price RequestABets, including 300/1 for literally nothing to happen all night - no goals, no bookings. Might back that just to make sure it doesn't happen.

Get involved here...

1920: Wales are 1/4 to get the three points tonight, and it's fair to say they really need them. Anything less tonight and it's starting to look like the Welsh wait for a World Cup spot will extend beyond 50 years.

Gareth Bale is an 11/2 Price Boost to score from outside the area, while a 3-0 win for Chris Coleman's men is enhanced to 13/2.

Back those and thousands of other things here.

1918: David John has turned his attention away from the NFL's opening week for long enough to look at tonight's games, and he's turned away from Ireland and Wales to pick out an anytime scorer tip for Italy's clash with Israel. Price did slightly surprise me.

1903: And the team news from Chisinau...

Moldova: Cebanu, Bordian, Posmac, Epureanu, Rozgoniuc, Graur, Ionita, Anton, Dedov, Pascenco, Ginsari
Wales: Hennessey, Gunter, Chester, Williams, B. Davies, Allen, Ramsey, King, Lawrence, Robson-Kanu, Bale

1900: Team news from Dublin...

Ireland: Randolph, Christie, Clark, Long, Brady, Mcclean, Hoolahan, Ward, Meyler, Walters, Duffy
Serbia: Stojkovic, Ivanovic, Vukovic, Maksimovic, Rukavina, Kolarov, Milivojevic, Matic, Mitrovic, Tadic, Kostic

1850: It's a huge night in Group B of the European World Cup qualifiers tonight, with both Wales and Republic of Ireland firmly involved in the equation.

As things stand, Serbia head the group with Ireland two points behind and Wales a further two points back. But that could all change by the end of the night. A home win for Ireland against Serbia and victory for Wales in Moldova would bunch things up nicely heading into the final pair of fixtures in October. Victory for Serbia, though, would all but secure top spot and a trip to Russia next summer.

We'll keep you across both those games as well as the rest of the night's action.
