Rumours round-up

Chelsea are interested in CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, according to Sky in Italy.

Golovin was a transfer target for Maurizio Sarri at Napoli.

It’s believed that CSKA want €25m (£22.1m) for the Russian international.

Manchester United want to sign Toni Kroos this summer, according to AS.

The Madrid-based paper says Jose Mourinho sees Kroos as an “essential” player to add to his midfield to compliment Paul Pogba.

Reports say that United could be set to make a “great offer” to Real Madrid for Kroos.

Staying with the Reds and Valencia are hoping to tempt Manchester United to sell full-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah this summer, according to Marca.

The 20-year-old has yet to break into Jose Mourinho’s team and spent last season on-loan with fellow Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.

Valencia think United have already started looking elsewhere for a long-term solution at right-back.

Everton are reportedly considering a move for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.

The Daily Mirror say the Toffees see the 21-year-old as a long-term replacement for 33-year-old left-back Leighton Baines.

Tierney signed a new six-year deal with Celtic in October, but Everton are apparently set to make a bid.

Jorginho could complete his move to Manchester City at any minute, according to his agent.

"Manchester City are working to close the deal with Napoli - any moment could be the right one," Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss. "The player is in Brazil.

"I'm in my house in England, waiting for a call from [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli or [owner Aurelio] De Laurentiis. When it arrives, I will go to meet the leadership of Manchester City."

Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong is reportedly Barcelona's main objective in the transfer market this summer.

Marca say Barca have held meetings with the player's representatives and might be prepared to pay 50m euros for the 21-year-old.

However, Ajax are not thought to be keen to sell.

Calum Chambers in advanced talks with Arsenal over a new contract, according to Sky Sports.

An announcement is expected within the next week.
