1500: Chris Wood is 5/4 with Sky Bet to score on his appearance for Burnley against their rivals Blackburn in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Sky Bet have also priced up Wood at 11/10 to score 10 or more Premier League goals this season. He's all the way out at 80/1 to get 20 or more top-flight goals this term.

Wood can be backed at 7/4 to net three or more headers in the Premier League before the campaign ends.

1405: Huddersfield will entertain offers for Nahki Wells because manager David Wagner is satisfied with his other attacking options.

An ankle injury that required surgery is keeping Wells out at the minute and Wagner confirmed a striker that has scored 38 Championship goals over the past three seasons may have played his final game for the club.

"First of all, I'm very happy that his small surgery was very successful," Wagner said.

"I'm very happy that my medical department gave me the answer that he will be back in four-to-six weeks so this means he is back nearly after the international break.

"The scenario is that we have high quality in our offensive line. This means I'm still open to speak if there are any serious offers for him.

"Is he on the market? Yes, he is. Will he move? I don't know. The window is open so we will see what happens.

"Nahki is totally aware about his situation, I had an honest conversation with him regarding his future at the football club, what my thoughts are, what the club's thoughts are, now we will see which serious offers will come on the table then we have to decide."

1345: Swansea have had a bid accepted for Hull midfielder Sam Clucas and expect the transfer to be completed within the next 48 hours.

Press Association Sport understands the deal is worth £15million with another potential £1.5m in add-ons.

1335: Here's what Chris Wood has told Clarets Player HD about his move to Burnley: "My ambition has been to play in the Premier League for years.

"I’ve had tastes of being in there but I’ve never had the chance to give it a proper bash.

"Coming here I feel I’ve got a proper opportunity to do that. I’ve never started a Premier League game and this what I want to do.

"This is a club that wants to stay in the Premier League for years to come and it’s going that way.

"The squad has done fantastically over the last couple of years to put themselves in the position they are now.

"There have been some great additions this summer, which I’m sure has given everyone an added boost, to move forward and cement us as a Premier League team and looking on further up the league.

"The manager has given me a lot of confidence and backed me to bring me here, which is what you want.

"I’ve still got a lot of good years ahead of me. I’ve got lots of ambitions to achieve in the future. I’ve got goals and dreams that I want to achieve and it starts here."

1330: Burnley have completed the signing of Chris Wood from Leeds for a club-record fee. Full quotes from the striker to follow shortly.

1312: Confirmation in, Samir Nasri has completed his move from Manchester City to Antalyaspor.

The attacking-midfielder has become the least needed player in the Premier League following the arrival of a series of top players with far better attitudes and fitness.

1305: A double deal to report in the Sky Bet Championship. Birmingham have completed the loan signings of Arsenal defenders Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall.

1105: Tottenham fans might be asking whether they need more reinforcements than centre-back Davinson Sanchez after their 2-1 loss to Chelsea - but who will they pursue?

Relieving the goalscoring pressure from Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen must surely be a priority, but it is actually full-backs who they are most likely to land.

PSG right-back Serge Aurier is just 8/11 to arrive, despite being being opposite to the sort of grounded characters Mauricio Pochettino prefers.

Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon fits the mould of Pochettino players and it 5/4 to arrive, although fellow left-wing-back Danny Rose looks less likely to depart at 7/2 to head to Manchester United.

1002: On a somewhat lower profile front, West Brom are just 2/5 to sign Kevin Wimmer as Tony Pulis continues to examine tapes of the Tottenham centre-back's set-piece work.

Meanwhile in Sky Bet's transfer specials, Leicester have been backed in from 16/1 to 4/1 to sign Andros Townsend from Crystal Palace, seemingly as a replacement for Demarai Gray, who is 2/1 to join Bournemouth.

0926: On the betting front, over the weekend we've seen Barcelona drift out to 5/4 to sign Coutinho, while Liverpool are now 6/4 to land Virgil van Dijk.

The one deal which is looking increasingly likely is PSG's purchase of Kylian Mbappe, who is now just 1/3 to move to the capital from Monaco.

0915: Here we go with the latest edition of the Transfer Bulletin. Let's kick things off with the latest news and gossip from today's national newspapers in Paper Talk.

The big transfer stories today are certain to revolve around the very latest on Philippe Coutinho's link with Barcelona, while we'll also bring you the latest on Chris Wood's move from Leeds to Burnley.
