Free football betting tips and odds: Sky Bet EFL preview

Our expert Nick Hext has a selection for all three Sky Bet EFL divisions this weekend.

Sky Bet Championship selection

Under 2.5 goals in Ipswich v Wolves, Sky Bet Championship (Saturday, 1500 GMT)

The Sky Bet EFL programme takes a hit this weekend because of the action in the fourth round of the FA Cup. There are only four matches being played in the Sky Bet Championship, none of the games are live on TV, and the best bet comes from leaders Wolves' trip to Ipswich. Nuno's table-toppers are looking to bounce back from last Saturday's surprise 2-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest but I'm expecting a really close contest against the Tractor Boys. Seven of Wolves' last 11 matches have contained less than 2.5 goals and all of Ipswich's previous three games have also fallen below that mark. Go low on goals is the advice for this Portman Road contest.

Sky Bet League One selection

Plymouth to beat Oldham, Sky Bet League One (Saturday, 1500 GMT)

Plymouth are a big price at around 3/1 to win on the road at struggling Oldham. The Latics are without a victory in their last eight Sky Bet League One outings and simply can't be trusted as such big favourites to pick up a three-point haul. Plymouth's eight-match unbeaten run was ended last time out as they lost 3-1 to leaders Wigan but I'm not concerned by a defeat against the division's best side. Argyle are worth a bit of support at such inviting odds for the win at SportsDirect.com Park.

Sky Bet League Two selection

Luton to beat Grimsby to nil, Sky Bet League Two (Saturday, 1500 GMT)

Luton are six points clear at the top of the Sky Bet League Two standings and it's hard to see anything other than automatic promotion for the Hatters. Nathan Jones' men battled to a 1-0 win at home to Morecambe last time out and I expect another scrap for the three points at Grimsby on Saturday afternoon. Luton have claimed nine of their previous 11 victories to nil and that is the way to go for more value in this contest. Grimsby have only scored once in their last three home games so expect Luton to take victory with another clean sheet.
