Aston Villa and Norwich City have been nominated in both Sky Bet Championship and Player of the Month Awards for November.
New Villa boss Dean Smith is selected in the Manager of the Month section after an excellent opening to his Villa Park career. November saw plenty of goals - 14 in fact - as Villa went four unbeaten to earn ten points. That included a 4-2 derby win over Birmingham City and a stunning 5-5 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Sky Bet Championship leaders Norwich City are rewarded with Daniel Farke's nomination. Not just defensively strong but now scoring goals for fun, including a remarkable 4-3 win over Millwall. November saw ten points earned and 12 goals scored from four games.
Darren Moore has already won this award once this season, which then resulted in a following poor month - there's really no curse though, honest. But he has responded in November with West Bromwich Albion's return to form and climb up the table. The Baggies gained three successive wins to end the month, which included an emphatic 4-1 win over then leaders Leeds United.
While the above three are chasing promotion, it is about staying in the Championship for Rotherham United and Paul Warne continues to do a fine job in keeping them away from the relegation zone. The Millers went unbeaten and took six points from four games against sides in the top half during November.
Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Nominees
Striker Tammy Abraham bagged six goals in four games in November after being revitalised and infused with confidence by Dean Smith. The highlight has to be his four-goal haul against Nottingham Forest in that incredible ten-goal thriller.
Another man who knows where the goal is is Teemu Pukki. He's earned a second nomination this season thanks to hitting five goals in three games as Norwich City went top.
Moving into midfield and Nottingham Forest's Joe Lolley earns a nomination with two goals and four assists. Coming inside and using his magical left foot to find passes, the 26-year-old scored a beauty and set up the other four of Forest’s five at Aston Villa.
Darren Randolph makes up the four nominations as the Middlesbrough goalkeeper conceded just two goals in four November games. He made outstanding saves against Stoke, Brentford and Preston.
