Premier League Request-A-Bets: Goals, cards and corner statistics

We take a look at some of the potential weekend wagers in relation to the cards, corners and goals count, as we head into matchday 26.

Coming into the latter stages of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, certain players and teams are beginning to ramp up a tally in particular fields, as well as demonstrating an improvement or cause for concern regarding their form. This is why it is important to brush up on the key stats regarding the 20 Premier League clubs, which can be formed collectively to create a Request-A-Bet.

Sporting Life's Billy Lumsden delves into the market to dissect his best bets for the coming weekend of Premier League action:

⚽️ Crystal Palace v West Ham ⚽️

👊 Best Bet- Crystal Palace 6+ corners: 13/8

In their last five games against non-‘big six’ sides, Crystal Palace have attained 48 corners, averaging 9.6 per match in that time. They have not scored many goals at home, eight in 12, but they are not short of corners, which is where they may earn joy against West Ham on Saturday. A hefty corner tally for Crystal Palace could be a worth consideration.

⚽️ Fulham v Manchester United ⚽️

👊 Best Bet- Rashford to score and Manchester United to win by 3+ goals: 6/1

Rashford has scored five goals in his last six Premier League matches and has six in eight since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of Manchester United. Fulham have the worst defensive record in the Premier League, shedding 55 goals already, and this should be expected to worse with how United are playing. Rashford contributed to three of their four goals against Fulham at Old Trafford (one goal, two assists) and although Man Utd’s performances were questioned against Burnley and Leicester, they should record an emphatic win over Fulham here.

⚽️ Watford v Everton ⚽️

👊 Best Bet- Watford to score 3+ goals, 6+ Watford corners and 20+ Everton booking pts: 14/1

Watford host an Everton side on Saturday who have suffered successive defeats to Wolves and Manchester City. Marco Silva faces Watford the second time since his departure from them last campaign and has seen his side lose five of the last seven Premier League encounters, slipping to ninth in the process. Watford have only lost one in four at Vicarage Road, which is why a heavy win for Javi Gracia’s may be a shrewd avenue to venture down.
