- Manchester United have been linked with a transfer bid for Fiorentina forward Federico Chiesa – valued at £60m - but will have to be ‘extra convincing’ if they want him to consider leaving Serie A. Newcastle could also be keen if their takeover goes through. Chiesa, 22, has netted 29 goals in more than 140 appearances for the Italian side and the Red Devils are considering him as an alternative to Jadon Sancho, with a deal for the England man looking more and more difficult. - Weston McKennie is expected to leave Schalke this summer. The American midfielder, 21, is 'eyeing a club that is in European competitions' while also said to be keen to get consistent game time to continue his development. He is attracting interest from England, Spain, Germany and France, with Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle and Wolves mentioned among those Premier League clubs and is valued at around £20m by his club.
