Leicester City's King Power Stadium to host England v Switzerland

England are to go on the road again after announcing a September date with Switzerland at Leicester's King Power stadium.

The Three Lions' World Cup warm-up date with Costa Rica at Elland Road in Leeds was hailed as a roaring success and another city will get to watch the national side on September 11.

The news was announced during the Football Association's 'Lions Den' feature on its official YouTube channel, with England and Leicester defender Harry Maguire saying: "It'll be a great atmosphere, always at the home games Leicester fans are right behind you and it's one I'm looking forward to."

It will be the second time England have played at Leicester, having beaten Serbia & Montenegro 2-1 there in 2003.

If results go England's way, it could also be a rerun of a World Cup quarter-final, with Switzerland or Sweden waiting if they beat Colombia in the second round on Tuesday.

Could they be playing the fixture as newly-crowned world champions? They are 8/1 with Sky Bet to win the Russia tournament this year and 6/5 to reach the semi-finals.
