Juventus v Real Madrid: RequestABet for CL final

Charlie Nicholas and the Sporting Life tipping team make RequestABet suggestions for Saturday's Champions League final.

Charlie Nicholas' RequestABet

Higuain to score, six or more Juventus corners and 30+ Real Madrid booking points at 14/1

I fancy Juventus to win the Champions League final because their defensive shape is much more solid, while they've got the weapons to trouble Real Madrid's leaky backline.

I can see Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini being able to take care of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Both teams like to play on the counter-attack, which should mean corners, and Real Madrid aren’t as disciplined or clever defensively, so I can see the likes of Sergio Ramos and Casemiro picking up cards.

Gonzalo Higuain is getting involved in play more than he used to and is scoring more goals than ever before. He looks like the complete striker now.

Juve are one of the best sides around when it comes to set-pieces so also I fancy Bonucci to score anytime, while in the group betting I’d look at them winning either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1.

Sporting Life's RequestABet

Juventus to lift the trophy, Higuain to score, over 50 bookings points and 10+ corners at 11/1

Juventus to lift the trophy - We've been with Juve since Andy Schooler put them up at 12/1 last autumn, and they can deny Real a third Champions League win in four years. The Old Lady look primed for this having learned plenty from their defeat to Barcelona two years ago and at the prices look value.

Gonzalo Higuain to score - The former Real Madrid striker bagged two against Monaco in the semi-finals and can take advantage of his former side's generosity at the back. Real have conceded in 11 of their 12 Champions League games this season and there will be chances for Juve, of that there's no doubt.

Over 50 bookings points - Real Madrid have been involved in two hostile finals in the last three years. Granted, both were against rivals Atletico, but 20 yellows across the two games is nonetheless remarkably high. Both of Juve's semi-final meetings with Monaco hit 40 points and in this historic game for both clubs, tempers could easily fray. What's more, may be wet and slippery and that only increases the prospects of a mistimed tackle to set the tone.

10+ corners - There were 30 (13 and 17) corners across Juve's quarter-final clashes with Barca, and 24 (10 and 14) in their semi-finals with Monaco. Real's semi-final with Atletico produced 27 (12 and 15) while it was 25 (12 and 13) against Bayern before that. Last time these sides met there were 14, and with both excelling on the front foot it's easy to see this target being met early on.
