NOTTINGHAM FOREST have been quietly impressive since Steve Cooper took over as manager in September, losing just once in 12 Sky Bet Championship matches to move well clear of danger.

That run has included six draws as well as five wins admittedly, but that's of little concern against a Peterborough side hapless on the road, losing nine of 10 away games by an aggregate 28-5, with the division's worst away Expected Goals process.

BLACKBURN boast one of the best home records in the Championship, six wins from 10 at Ewood Park with their only two defeats coming against top-four sides Fulham and West Brom.

It’s a surprise to see them odds against for the visit of Preston, whose away record is among the division’s worst. North End have improved on their travels recently but Rovers – five wins in seven – are in better form.

There are only two games in Sky Bet League One on Saturday – and one of them promises goals as ACCRINGTON and FLEETWOOD face off in a Lancashire derby.

Accrington’s home matches average 3.38 goals per game and a 75% BTTS ratio, Fleetwood’s away games 3.67 and an 89% BTTS ratio so this derby is a must for your BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE coupon.

To the FA Cup next, where two more goal merchants meet as League One's CAMBRIDGE UNITED host EXETER CITY from a division below.

Cambridge have one league clean sheet all season and a 75% BTTS ratio, while each side has scored in all of Exeter’s past 15 games. Fifteen! Enough for caps in brackets (15 - FIFTEEN!). Again back BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE here.

Fancy a cup shock (albeit a minor one)? Sky Bet League Two form side MANSFIELD have won six in seven in all competitions, including upsetting Sunderland at The Stadium of Light in round one.

Yet they are as long as 13/5 in places to win at a Doncaster side having an awful League One season, second-bottom with just 17 goals in 25 games in all competitions. The double chance on Mansfield or draw is worth a look at 4/5 with some firms too.

PORTSMOUTH have become a favourite of this column in recent weeks – we’ve put them up in two successive Saturdays and they have not let us down, amid a run of seven wins in their past eight.

Pompey should have too much in the Cup for League Two side Harrogate who have been a bit hit and miss recently, losing five of their past 10 in all competitions.

SWINDON are another of the lower league’s form sides, with nine wins in their past 13 games in all competitions, including an amazing run of seven successive away victories.

That record on the road cannot be ignored as they travel to fellow League Two side Walsall in the cup – especially given the Saddlers are in the midst of a slump with four defeats in their past six and winless in four at home.
