Borussia Dortmund v Hertha Berlin

Borussia Dortmund have already secured second spot in the Bundesliga while Hertha Berlin are still in relegation danger.

They sit three points above the the relegation play-off place but Stuttgart hold a better goal difference. A simple scenario of a Hertha defeat and a Stuttgart win would see them drop into the bottom three.

The big news surrounding these teams this week though has been that Erling Haaland is going to be a Manchester City player next season.

This will be his final game in a Dortmund shirt. At a price of 9/4, it's worth backing him to finish on a high and taking HAALAND TO SCORE 2+ GOALS.

The striker has 21 goals in 23 Bundesliga outings this season. However, he scores braces far more than single goal games.

Of those 21 goals, only four of them have come on their own. Remarkably, Haaland has netted at least two in nine outings during the 21/22 campaign.

While Hertha have something to play for, only Fürth have conceded more goals this season. A concern going to a side who have scored 5+ in three home games this side of the winter break.

Dortmund should win this one and there is value in backing HAALAND to be involved in the goals as usual.

Stuttgart v Köln

This is a game that has a fair bit riding on it. Stuttgart need a win for any chance of survival while three points for Köln may get them Europa League football next season.

The visitors are already in the Europa Conference League but they will be wanting to step up in competition and they have to secure victory to play their part on final day.

Union Berlin host Bochum - victory is probable for the side in 6th - but at a general 2/1 price, there is value in taking KÖLN TO WIN here.

As their league position suggests, Stuttgart have hardly been inspiring this season. That extends to their showings at home - only Bielefeld and Fürth have picked up fewer points.

Köln have been an upper mid-table side in terms of away performances and they've won three of their last four on the road. What is impressive is that the last two have been by two-goal or greater margins.

Some weight may be given to Stuttgart due to their relegation issues but they've proven to be a bad team. Equally, the away side also have something to play for on Saturday afternoon.

Anytime a top-seven side is 2/1 to win away at one outside of that group there is always going to be interest. Couple that with Infogol giving KÖLN a 40% chance of winning and we can see that they have been overpriced in this one.

Goalscorer treble

  • Christopher Nkunku has 34 goals in all competitions this season
  • Anthony Modeste has 20 goals in all competitions this season
  • Serge Gnabry has 17 goals in all competitions this season

According to the Infogol model...

  • Over 2.5 goals is a 64% chance in Arminia Bielefeld v RB Leipzig
  • Over 2.5 goals is a 65% chance in Stuttgart v Köln
  • Over 2.5 goals is a 81% chance in Wolfsburg v Bayern Munich
