Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are considering a move for Harry Kane, according to reports.
The Tottenham and England forward, currently sidelined with an ankle injury, is seen as an ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski, should he leave the Allianz Arena.
The Poland star is said to be keen on forcing through a move to Real Madrid and Bayern’s search for his successor is underway, say Spanish publication Marca.
Lewandowski, 29, has scored 142 goals in 184 appearances since moving to Munich from Borussia Dortmund and he recently changed agents – apparently with the aim of relocating to the Bernabeu.
Kane, who has netted 134 times in 204 appearances for the north Londoners, is said to be a top target, along with RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner.
