Darren Moore named permanent Head Coach of West Bromwich Albion

Darren Moore has been confirmed as the Head Coach of West Brom, who can be backed at 7/1 to win the Sky Bet Championship.

The former West Brom defender was unable to save the Baggies from relegation out of the Premier League, after taking charge on a caretaker basis towards the end of the season with the club 10 points adrift of safety.

But the 44-year-old made a big impact and was named Premier League manager of the month for April after masterminding wins against Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle and a draw with Liverpool.

Sky Bet offer West Brom at 7/1 to win the Championship title next season.

Moore told the club's official website: "I am obviously extremely proud to accept this role and also extremely excited.

"We have a big summer ahead of us, a lot of hard work we need to get in now. I’m going all out to try to get those plans and personnel in place to make sure we’ve got everything ready.

"And we need to be because this is a tough league packed with great clubs. But what an opportunity for us to move the club in the right direction."
