Brentford look to keep their late bid for automatic promotion from the Sky Bet Championship alive when they face Preston on Wednesday. We look at the betting.
Brentford look simply unstoppable at the moment and I don't think Preston are going to be the team to stop them. They've won seven straight games in the Sky Bet Championship, including all six since lockdown.
During their winning run, the Bees have scored 19 goals and conceded only three. Even if they don't manage to claw in one of Leeds United or West Brom in a last-gasp attempt to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League, who would want to play Thomas Frank's team in the play-offs?
Preston began the restarted campaign with a great chance of taking part in the end-of-season lottery, but poor form saw their hopes fade until victory at Sheffield Wednesday two games ago - their only win in nine - put them back in the mix.
Alex Neil's side have kept only one clean sheet in 14 matches, so keeping out Brentford is going to be a big ask. Too big - Brentford have scored in 14 successive games, and netted at least twice in all but one of their post-shutdown matches.

Said Benrahma has been the inspiration for Brentford's late surge. The Algerian has scored six goals in his last three matches, and seven in total since the season restarted.
It's seen top scorer Ollie Watkins take a rare back seat having only found the net twice. The Bees front man scored against Derby last time out to end his longest goal 'drought' of the season - three games. Amazingly that's only happened twice, which goes a long way to explaining why the bookies are still siding with him over his in-form team-mate in the goalscorer market.
You can get a Boosted 14/1 for Benrahma to score 2 or more goals which given his current streak is astonishing, and a punt I'll be taking. Elsewhere you're looking at best price 17/2 which quite honestly is still pretty favourable.
I'll also be going down the safer route of backing Benrahma to score anytime at 23/10 which is more than twice the price you can get on Watkins.
Prediction: Brentford 3-0 Preston (Sky Bet odds: 9/1)
