VAR awarded Jordan Ayew's late goal to give Crystal Palace a 2-1 victory at West Ham in the Premier League.
The result sends Roy Hodgson's side up to fourth going into the international break, after eight games of the season, while West Ham drop to seventh.
The Hammers initially took the lead through Sebastian Haller - the Frenchman's fourth goal in seven Premier League games - before Patrick van Aanholt pulled one back from the spot.
With the match heading for a draw, substitute Andros Townsend sent in a dangerous diagonal ball which Martin Kelly headed across goal for Ayew to convert from close range.
After a long VAR review looking for a potential offside at two different points in the build-up, the strike was awarded and Palace held on for their fourth win of the season and first at West Ham in four-and-a-half years.
