Royal Magic has been the best-backed horse of the day in the Southwell Racecourse Joules Sale 24th July Handicap Chase at 2.45.
Trained by Gold Cup-winning rider Sam Thomas, Royal Magic has struggled over fences in five starts but better is expected of him today in first-time blinkers on his second run since wind surgery.
A high of 15/2 this morning, he's now 9/2 with Sky Bet for the second race at Southwell.
