David Massey landed a 100/30 winner yesterday and looks to follow up with a couple of suggestions for the New Year's Eve action.
Racing betting tips: Wednesday December 31
1pt win Don't Tell Rosie in 13:22 Warwick at 5/1 (General) - min 9/2
1pt win Jacques Clouseau in 14:43 Uttoxeter at 8/1 (bet365) - min 7/1
13:22 Warwick
Katira Du Mestivel has not set the world alight this season but her second to the now 130-rated Hollygrove Cha Cha at Fontwell around this time last year was a good effort and makes a mark of 93 here look workable.
She’s done little in two runs this season, but has been ridden negatively and could easily bounce back under more aggressive tactics, so is one to bear in mind.
DON’T TELL ROSIE is another who hasn’t troubled the judge in two runs this term, but those came at a time when Jeremy Scott was struggling for winners, and he’s been in fine form in the last few weeks, which gives hope that this five-year-old mare can exploit a workable mark.
She didn’t run at all badly last time at Chepstow when given far too much to do, and this galloping track (on the outer hurdles track at Warwicl today) will suit her.
Eight winners from 28 runners since the end of November demonstrates Scott’s turnaround in form, and Don’t Tell Rosie can score in the colours of her trainer’s Champion Hurdler, Golden Ace.

Robbie Llewellyn continues to have a great December (full form figures 53121423112) and his Cornish Comedy looks the one to beat after a promising debut effort over fences at Hereford.
His dam is a half-sister to the smart staying chaser Bob Bob Bobbin and fairly useful hurdler War General out of that very useful racemare Absalom's Lady, and Cornish Comedy is bred to improve for a test of jumping and stamina.
Cornish Comedy gained a mark in four runs over hurdles but his trainer spent little time switching him to the bigger obstacles, and he showed immediate improvement to chase home Kingcormack at Hereford, jumping well until making a tired error at the final fence.
He’ll improve for that and a mark of 89 is likely to prove insufficient to stop him winning races over fences.
14:43 Uttoxeter
By far the most interesting runner on the whole Uttoxeter card, for me, is JACQUES CLOUSEAU in this handicap chase.
He beat Old Cowboy, who we saw win at Newbury from a mark of 121 earlier in the week, in a point-to-point at Chaddesley Corbett last year, and has always looked a chaser in the making.
Despite that, he might well have won over hurdles at Southwell on his reappearance last month with a slightly more positive ride, and I expect a lot of improvement now he goes chasing.
A mark of 109 is begging to be taken advantage of.
