Norwich full-back Max Aarons is now 1/5 to sign for Manchester United during the January transfer window.
Aarons, 21, almost joined Barcelona in September but the move was scuppered by the Spanish giants reportedly wanting to sign the England Under-21 international on an initial loan.
Norwich, currently top of the Sky Bet Championship at 2020/21's halfway point, demanded a £30m obligation to buy clause be included in any deal and an agreement could not be struck.
Now Aarons looks set to move to Old Trafford in what would be a surprising transfer given United's £50m capture of Aaron Wan-Bissaka just 18 months ago.

Wan-Bissaka has been a roaring success at the club since his arrival from Crystal Palace, but a lack of attacking output may be what has led United to thoughts of strengthening at right-back - the 23-year-old has provided just two assists in 26 appearances this season.
His ability to play on the right of a back three could be part of their thinking, too.
It would give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the opportunity to play both Wan-Bissaka and Aarons in the same XI, should he choose to operate with a 3-5-2 / 3-4-3, so often the case in crucial matches during his two years in charge.
