Ran a rather odd race on debut, losing his place before rallying to finish 6½ lengths fifth of 9 in a valuable Ascot maiden (6f). He should improve for that and contests an easier maiden this time.

Brother to a useful one, but he's shaped as though in need of more time in a pair of 6f novices to date.

Invincible Spirit colt. Half-brother to useful 2-y-o 1m winner. Green/offered little on debut at Newmarket (33/1) in late-June. Will need to leave that effort well behind, though does return from 7 weeks off with his yard among the winners.

260,000 gns Perfect Power colt. Shaped with plenty of encouragement when ¾-length second over C&D on debut. Again shaped well when filling the same position over a slowly-run 7f at Yarmouth last time. Should be hard to beat, for all stall 11 isn't the ideal berth.

Foaled April 3. Due Diligence gelding. Half-brother to 5.5f winner Momicheotostrova and 2-y-o 5f winner Loleeta. Dam, 2-y-o 5f winner, half-sister to winner up to 1m Officer Rocket. Bred to be speedy. Yard's big-price winner here last month their sole winning debutant this season.

Foaled January 27. €110,000 yearling, Sioux Nation colt. Brother to 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Stop The Nation and half-brother to 7.5f/1m winner Sun Soldier. Dam 2-y-o 6f winner. Newcomer looks one of the more interesting challengers to Mithaaly.

Made some appeal on paper but was at long odds when well held on debut at Wolverhampton (7f). One for down the line.

180,000 gns Dark Angel filly. Showed ability amid greenness when fourth behind a subsequent winner on debut at Nottingham. Ran to a similar level when chasing home a fairly useful type at Leicester subsequently. Has to be on the shortlist.

Showed nothing in trio of 6f starts at Chester before racing too freely on nursery debut at Thirsk. Limited appeal back in a maiden.

Has no form in 5 starts to date.
