Relished testing conditions when off the mark at Salisbury (1¼m) last September and working his way back this season, finding only a last-time-out winner too strong in 18-runner handicap at York (1¼, good) just over 3 weeks ago. Nudged up 3 lb but every chance he'll feature.

Confirmed himself better than ever when landing back-to-back 11f handicaps at Kempton last autumn and ran his best race since when fifth of 12 there 6 days ago, travelling well for a long way. Potentially building up to something.
Gained reward for consistency when landing a Kempton maiden last September. Proved expensive to follow there since (beaten favourite on 4 of 5 handicap starts) and hopes pinned on first-time headgear working the oracle.
Finished runner-up 4 times in 2025, his best effort coming on heavy. Gave his running back on turf following a 6-week break when fourth of 14 at Newbury in April but ran no sort of race in first-time cheekpieces at Chester the following month (said to have lost action). Can bounce back.
Won back-to-back sellers for William Haggas last summer and has shown bits and pieces of promise over hurdles for current connections, most recently when second of 12 in handicap at Ffos Las (2m, good) a couple of months ago. Not discounted on Flat handicap bow.
Nearly landed a double at Kempton on final start for Ralph Beckett in October 2024 and unsurprisingly shaped as if better for the run returning after 20 months off for new connections when last of 4 at Pontefract (1½m, good) recently. This should reveal more.
Multiple winner in Australia, including back in January 2025 when landing 13-runner handicap at Sunshine Coast (11f, good). Naturally the lengthy absence is a concern, but interesting to see what the market makes of him on first start for James Fanshawe (gelded in interim).
Improved when hooded on the all-weather this spring, scoring over C&D in April. Went without hood and too free on his turf debut when last of 7 at Newbury (1¼m) 5 weeks ago. No surprise to see him get back on track with headgear now refitted.

Forecasts
Club Class (7/4), Jupiter Ammon (10/3), Crystal Mariner (5/1), Northwest Passage (13/2), Victors Spirit (9/1), Vaguer (12/1), Forever Penywern (14/1), Aulis (25/1)
Hard to rule any of these out and another chance is given to CLUB CLASS, who has been a beaten favourite on 4 of her 5 handicap starts but first-time cheekpieces could be just what's required to double her tally. Jupiter Ammon's Chester effort was too bad to be true so he can give the selection most to do following a 2-month break. Northwest Passage can fill out third.
