Potentially useful hurdler who has improved on both runs since a break, when second in successive maiden hurdles at Clonmel. Went very close in the most recent of those, and looks a big player again in this field.
Placed in 12-20 hurdles, but remains a maiden. Has been chasing on his last two runs, and performed with credit in both of them. However, exposed in this sphere and while he could pick up some prize money, he will probably find a couple too good.
French bumper winner who has shown promise in all three hurdles starts since joining this trainer. Tongue-tie goes on, but needs to improve for that if he is to finish in the money again.
Stepped up on previous efforts when staying on strongly to score by 6L in a Tipperary maiden hurdle (2m4f, good) in July. Well held at Galway when last seen, but remains very much of interest returning from a break, as he goes well fresh.
Showed ability both on the Flat and over hurdles when trained by Brian Ellison, although was placed in all seven hurdles in Britain without winning. Changed hands for £3,000 in August. Could have a say on stable debut, but clearly vulnerable.
Placed in a couple of bumpers in 2017, but has only visited the racecourse three times since, and is hard to fancy on his two most recent efforts after another layoff.
Debut bumper win in 2017 remains his sole success, and while he has run some respectable races over hurdles, there are others who look more obvious win candidates on these terms.
Came good at the seventh attempt over hurdles when scoring at Roscommon (1m7½f, soft) in September. Well below that level in handicaps since then, but is of interest again now back taking on novices.
Forecasts
Fakir (5/2), Arahecan (3/1), Rasiym (5/1), Tomeric (11/2), Empire Burleque (8/1), Cool Robin (10/1), Randalls Ur Poet (12/1), Bal De Rio (16/1)
Potentially competitive, with Arahecan among those who could go close, and both Tomeric and Randalls Poet potential contenders. However, RASIYM goes well when fresh and could leave behind the form of his most recent effort now returning from a break. He is taken to score.
