Dual C&D winner in July but didn't handle conditions when 6L sixth in 7f Ascot handicap in late July. Off the same mark for this but commands respect on excellent course record.
Solid second over C&D three starts ago but not in the same form since, including 5L seventh over C&D last time out. Improvement is now required.
In good form this summer, landing 7f Beverley handicap three starts ago before third-placed efforts in 7f Catterick handicaps. Runs consistently to his mark and another bold account expected.
Slightly inconsistent sort whose last win came at Pontefract in April. Showed signs of a revival with narrow defeat in 1m Sandown handicap and harshly raised 5lb for that but should go well again.
Not disgraced off current mark since Bath success in June but put in a below-par effort in 1m Sandown handicap on latest start. Place claims if bouncing back to his best.
Back on his last winning mark but not in great form recently, including 6L defeat at Chelmsford (7f, standard) when last seen. May need a bit more once again.
Belatedly off the mark at Windsor in June but regressed significantly in two starts since, finishing tailed off at Newbury (1m) and Goodwood (1m2f). Only dropped 2lb in handicap so others preferred.
C&D winner in novice contest last season and returned to good level of form with narrow victory at Kempton (7f) on latest start. 3lb rise demands more but has the scope to improve.
Forecasts
Casement (9/2), Indian Viceroy (9/2), Big Storm Coming (5/1), Poetic Force (5/1), Luis Vaz De Torres (11/2), Mamillius (7/1), Buckingham (11/1), Itizzit (12/1)
INDIAN VICEROY got his act back together last month with pleasing efforts at Kempton and looks to be lightly treated in the handicap still. On paper he is the stable's number one hope and has the profile to continue his progression up the handicap ladder against some more exposed rivals. Big Storm Coming excels at this track and is the most obvious danger, but a career best is required off his current mark while Luis Vaz De Torres rarely runs a bad race and has escaped any penalties for his recent encouraging efforts.
- Indian Viceroy
- Big Storm Coming
- Luis Vaz De Torres
