Dual Flat winner in native France, had valid excuse for debut flop for new trainer in November. Running well in defeat in subsequent starts at Punchestown and over C&D last month. One of the more likely types on handicap debut.
Some promise as a juvenile for Eve Johnson Houghton but had training issues and didn't race again on Flat. Fourth hurdle start and improved effort would not surprise on handicap debut for leading trainer at this meeting since 2015.
Big prices for four 2m maiden hurdle defeats since leaving Dermot Weld for this yard, well beaten on each occasion and on handicap debut here over C&D earlier this month. Hard to enthuse over in this company.
Poor form in three maiden hurdle starts since November including a 22L defeat finishing 11th of 17 at Limerick on St Stephens Day before beaten by the shortest of margins on handicap debut over C&D earlier this month. Rates a leading contender.
Dual purpose performer, remains a maiden after 16 starts but was not disgraced in a Down Royal handicap hurdle last month finishing fourth of 14. Hard to place any faith in.
Well down the field in a number of hurdle starts since August including an 11½L defeat over C&D last month behind Mystique Heights. Place claims for yard who boast a 41% win and place strike rate at this meeting in the last four years.

Coral Blue (5/4), Lignou (3/1), So Enjoy (6/1), Tashman (7/1), Great Vizier (7/1), Colour Me In (10/1), Viscount Wilson (12/1), Livingstones Quest (14/1)
The Noel Meade-trained LIGNOU was a dual Flat winner in native France and has been running well in defeat in starts at Punchestown and over C&D last month when finishing 17L adrift of Konitho. The four-year-old can confirm his entry in the Fred Winter at the festival at the expense of Coral Blue and the Gordon Elliott pair Great Vizer and Viscount Wilson who are worthy of consideration in this contest.
