Yard know the family well (dam half-sister to both their Rainbow Haze and Driftwood Haze, both stay well) but are 0-10 in bumpers last five years and on that, others have stronger claims.
Pedigree has some speed in it, and she might appreciate this test more than a few. Yard 0-9 in bumpers but have had a couple placed at big prices, and Richard Johnson an eyecatching booking, so worth a glance in the market.
First foal, dam an unraced half-sister to smart hurdle and chase winner Lord Henry. Yard have an 18% strike rate in bumpers but that has fallen right off in more recent times. Has chances in what looks a winnable event all the same.
€32,000 purchase back in 2016, dam a winner in Germany and there's some Flat speed in his pedigree. Yard just 2-33 in bumpers last 12 months though, which tempers enthusiasm a little, and unless strong in the market, others make more appeal.
Has a good looking pedigree, dam a half-sister to smart winners Made In Taipan and Made In Time. Will no doubt do well over fences in time but yard know what it takes to win these events and he looks one of the more likely ones.
Only 3yo in the field, is a half-sister to the useful chaser Thomas Crapper, which shows where her future may lie. Yard 0-19 in these events last five seasons though, so it may pay to look elsewhere for the winner today.
Forecasts
Stick With Bill (5/2), Little Red Lion (11/4), Gallic Geordie (3/1), Moonlight Camp (11/2), Beau Haze (6/1), Youvebrokenmydream (12/1)
As ever in these events, the market will prove most informative but as it stands, STICK WITH BILL makes most appeal, coming from a yard that do well in bumpers and he's bred to be decent. Gallic Geordie makes some appeal on the jockey booking alone, and comes from an up-and-coming yard, so is worth a second look. Little Red Lion may be best of the rest.
