Rejuvenated by a return to hurdles he landed a Cartmel hat-trick with the last win the easiest. Switched to fences at the same venue latest and positively hacked up. Arrives under a 7lb penalty and surely well in with that so five-timer likely.
C&D winner two starts back where he jumped really well from the front. Raised 10lb for the success and lesser effort since over hurdles but back at this venue ideally suited to his racing style he has to be considered a likely sort.
Finished last season with three seconds over fences and return this summer at Ffos Las over hurdles full of promise. Disappointed back chasing next where jumping let him down. Well enough treated if he can brush up on his technique.
Tailed off most recently at Newton Abbot after a break. That just his second start of the year. Certainly off an appealing mark now if recapturing his best form but a few doubts over that here.

WELLS DE LUNE has been a revelation this summer and Peter Bowen's charge looks well capable of defying a 7lb penalty to land the five-timer. Comanche Chieftain is a C&D winner who could be open to further improvement at this relatively early stage of his career over fences so rates next best. Coeur Tantre was disappointing last time but otherwise has a solid profile so is another worth consideration.
