Reverts to fences after a spell over hurdles, where he's performed with some consistency, and as far as fences go, he's yet to finish out of the first three in nine starts. On a fair mark and with trip and ground fine, expect a bold showing.
Another veteran that was having a good spell when last seen, springing a 33/1 surprise at Bangor in August. That was over hurdles, and his chase form hasn't been so good, so may need to pull a bit more out from this mark.
Better class than these at his best, but it's some while since he showed much in the way of solid form. May strip fitter after a couple of efforts this autumn but still hard to make a solid case for a present.
Twice a winner at the track, the latest coming around this time last year, looks on a fair mark if some of her efforts earlier in the year are to be taken at face value and may be suited by the way this race unfolds. Looks to hold a solid chance.
Has refound some form on his last two starts, travelling well over this C&D two starts ago and running near that form latest. Another likely to be suited by a strong pace up front and it's hard not to see him in the frame at worst.
Regular at this venue (one win and six places from 20 starts), mixes hurdles and fences but hard to predict when he's on a going day. Ground to make up with Muwalla on previous running here, and others look more solid.
Forecasts
Muwalla (5/2), Civil Unrest (10/3), Prince Khurram (7/2), Trust Thomas (9/2), Thankyou Very Much (7/1), Endeavor (10/1)
Only six runners but no hanging about with Civil Unrest and Trust Thomas both in attendance, and that will suit both Thankyou Very Much and Muwalla, both of whom like to be ridden quietly from off the pace. Preference is Muwalla, who has bounced back to form and has ideal conditions here. Thankyou Very Much will be a big danger if avoiding errors, which isn't always the case.
