Won one of his two point-to-points but finished last of 11 on bumper debut before a good fourth of 16 on hurdling bow. Surprising that he is switched back to a bumper given that improvement.
Alhaarth gelding who went off at 100-1 before unseating his rider on his racecourse debut in a Thurles maiden hurdle in March. Plenty to prove switched to a bumper.
Beneficial gelding out of an Oscar mare, so nothing wrong with his pedigree and he backed that up when fourth of 16 on his debut in a bumper at Fairyhouse in March, last year. Has not been sighted since, but jockey booking suggests he is ready to go
Has finished third in both bumpers at Fairyhouse and Leopardstown. Absent since December, last year, and the betting market will be the best guide to his chances on this return to action
Maiden pointer whose only run in a bumper saw her finish second of 18 for Colin McBratney at Tipperary in May. Has her first run for a powerful stable and looks a strong contender in receipt of weight.
Forecasts
Bang Bang Rosie (10/11), Caltex (3/1), Calicojack (9/2), Benefit North (10/1), McCrackens Gate (20/1), Bob Benson (33/1)
Mccrackens Gate's jockey booking catches the eye, but the form book suggests this should rest between Bang Bang Rosie, Caltex and CALICOJACK. The latter gets a narrow vote following a promising debut at Fairyhouse, albeit last year, and the assistance of his top amateur jockey.
