Good winner of a Group 2 at the Curragh beating Yucatan and leading home a 1-2 for this trainer and ran well in a Group 1 in France subsequently. Fair effort on return last time and sure to come on for that so looks capable of going well but best efforts have come with cut in the ground. Holds Dante, Irish 2,000 Guineas and Investec Derby entries..
Excellent second here on return to action this season and entitled to improve for that and the return to better ground. Versatile tactics wise and has a solid chance on form.
Good winner of a Listed race here at the end of last season and shaped like he needed his seasonal reappearance when finishing fifth of nine here last month. Will probably want more rain but respected for a trainer who is going well in recent weeks.
Plenty to like about his debut last year and the form of that race has been franked with the second and third winning since. Did his own bit for the form when winning on reappearance here last month and that form has been boosted since too. Yard have been in good form in recent weeks and trainer does well when teaming up with this jockey so plenty to like about his chances.
Bought for 45,000 gns as a yearling and produced a fair effort on debut here. Entitled to come on for that but likely to struggle in a contest as deep as this.
Runner-up behind Capri at the Curragh last year and went on to finish runner-up in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster at the end of the season. Shaped like needing his reappearance last month and he can do better this year over this trip and a little further.
YUCATAN looked like he would strip fitter for his return here last month and should go well. Insayshable could be capable of running a big race on just his third start while Douglas Macarthur is a reliable sort who may run a place. Suspicion is that Dubai Sand and Capri would have preferred softer conditions than what they're likely to get here.
