Contre Tous showed good battling qualities to get the better of a tight finish last time in a race where the front two finished clear of the third. He is only a young horse and a 4lb rise is not asking too much. Preference though is for THANKYOU VERY MUCH for James Bethell's team. The mare won two races last November which have proved to be better than they looked at the time. The conditions here are perfect for her. Chestnut Ben arrives having landed two of his last four races and with his trainer and rider in good form. The veteran will give his usual honest account but his younger rivals are marginally preferred.
