Debut for this son of Khalkevi who has some speed in his pedigree, and as the yard do get the odd bumper winner at decent prices (7-42 last five seasons, over £19 profit to a £1 level stake) is at least worth a look in the market.
Beaten favourite on only start so far, and connections reach for the tongue tie already. Well beaten at Navan and found little for pressure, but heavy ground there a possible excuse and may find better ground more to his liking. The one to beat, but not one for maximum stakes.
Has shown some promise on both bumper starts to date, but the form of his fourth to MIracle Way here last August isn't working out at all. Can only be watched after a break.
Has plenty of experience and this will be her ninth race already, with a third to Joys Gift at Down Royal last August being the highlight. That form gives her a chance of getting among the places, but is returning from a break and is best watched for win purposes.
Had two starts so far, and much better effort second attempt than the first, staying on well to take third behind Dazzling Sarah at Down Royal and looking like this extra quarter of a mile woulod suit. Comes here fit and in some form, which is more than most of these do, so has to be given serious consideration.
Showed nothing on debut at Down Royal (finished well behind Dawn Catcher) and needs huge improvement to get involved.
Forecasts
Coeur De Beauchene (5/4), Camaro (9/4), Dawn Shadow (9/2), Amarillo Rose (11/1), Doo Wakka Doo (14/1), Tambow (20/1), Maureen's Star (33/1)
Coeur De Beauchene will be all the rage here but he’s no certainty and the fact connections go for the tongue tie so soon is a little worrying to see. Given that, maybe DAWN SHADOW can cause a minor upset, as she didn’t do at all badly at Down Royal last time and this extra two furlongs looks in her favour. The race for third can be won by newcomer Camaro.
